Sourcing Food

Try to source locally as much as possible. Food that has not travelled air miles and over long distances is going to retain vitamins and minerals with superior nutrients and health benefits. Preferably shop at your local farm shop or if you are able to, grow your own. Most supermarkets are now starting to stock seasonal locally grown fruits and vegetables. Always try to eat mostly fruits and vegetables that are in season. There has been a bumper crop and some wonderful locally grown apples in the stores around here this year.
